Aquarium Care
Ranchu require a spacious, mature aquarium with strong biological filtration and good oxygenation. A tank of approximately 75 litres or larger is a sensible starting point for one fish, with additional space required for every extra goldfish.
Maintain stable water conditions and perform regular partial water changes. Avoid sharp decorations that could damage the fish’s fins or body. Fine sand or a bare-bottom aquarium makes cleaning easier and is suitable for their natural foraging behaviour.
