Jumbo Ranchu 15cm are impressive premium fancy goldfish selected for their substantial body size, smooth curved backs and well-developed head growth. Their calm swimming style and distinctive Ranchu profile make them a striking feature in a spacious fancy goldfish aquarium.

Appearance

Each Jumbo Ranchu is individually selected for overall shape and condition. Colour, markings, head growth and body shape naturally vary between fish. The photographs are representative of the current stock, but this is not a WYSIWYG listing.

Aquarium Care

Due to their approximately 15cm size, Jumbo Ranchu require a spacious, mature aquarium with excellent biological filtration and strong oxygenation. An aquarium of approximately 100 litres or larger is a sensible starting point for one fish, with additional space required for every extra goldfish.

Maintain stable water conditions and perform regular partial water changes. Ranchu are slow swimmers, so avoid strong directional currents. Use smooth decorations and avoid sharp objects that could damage their fins or body.

Feeding

Tankmates

Jumbo Ranchu are peaceful and are best housed with other slow-swimming fancy goldfish of a similar size. Avoid aggressive species, fin-nipping fish and fast goldfish varieties that may outcompete them for food.
