Fancy Oranda 8–10cm

Fancy Oranda 8–10cm are beautiful fancy goldfish selected for their rounded body shape, flowing fins and developing head growth. Their peaceful personality and distinctive appearance make them an excellent addition to a properly maintained fancy goldfish aquarium.

Appearance

Each Fancy Oranda has its own combination of colour, markings, head growth, fin shape and body form. The photographs show the typical appearance of the fish currently offered, but this is not a WYSIWYG listing and the individual supplied may vary slightly.

Aquarium Care

Fancy Oranda require a spacious, mature aquarium with reliable biological filtration and good oxygenation. An aquarium of approximately 75 litres or larger is a sensible starting point for one fish, with additional space required for every extra goldfish.

Maintain stable water conditions and perform regular partial water changes. Avoid sharp rocks and decorations that could damage their flowing fins or head growth. Gentle to moderate water movement is recommended because fancy goldfish are not strong swimmers.

Tankmates

Fancy Oranda are peaceful and are best kept with other slow-swimming fancy goldfish of a similar size. Avoid aggressive fish, fin-nipping species and fast goldfish varieties that may outcompete them for food.
